Ms. Kelly has focused her professional life and educational experience toward the pursuit of a career as an employment law attorney. In 2010, two years before she started law school, she worked as a legal assistant at an employee rights law firm in Los Angeles, where she also served as a law clerk after her first year of law school. Ms. Kelly also worked as a summer associate at a large employment law firm in San Francisco. Ms. Kelly has actively chosen to apply her considerable talents to Plaintiff-side civil rights work by joining the team at Wilkenfeld Herendeen Law.
WHL co-founder Ari Wilkenfeld has described Ms. Kelly as “one of the most talented young attorneys I have ever worked with. Right now, in her first year of practice, she is able to expertly perform litigation tasks that most second or third year lawyers are still learning. She is devoted to our clients, and has research and writing skills that are nothing short of astonishing for an attorney at her level. We feel extremely fortunate to have her begin her very promising career at WHL.”
Ms. Kelly graduated magna cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in 2015. In law school, she served as a Dean’s Fellow for the legal research and writing program, a staff member for the Administrative Law Review, and an executive board member for the Moot Court Honor Society. She also acted as a student attorney for the Civil Advocacy Clinic, where she represented indigent clients in a variety of civil claims. Ms. Kelly was the recipient of the Washington College of Law Merit Scholarship, the Mussey-Gillett Fellowship, and the John and Tyna Karl Employee Rights Scholarship. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
